Annual Projects and Activities
Here is a selection of our club's annual projects and activities. It is a mix of
community services and fundraisers. All proceeds raised by our fundraisers are funneled
back into our community and global Kiwanis initiatives.
Spring Eggstravaganza (YMCA)
Kiwanis members and their Key club volunteers have a great time assisting in the preparation and managing various venues at this festive family event run by the YMCA. The biggest focus is the Egg Hunt separated by three age categories. Kiwanians purchase and fill the contents of 1000s of plastic eggs and 'hide them' in the fields for the kids to find. We also provide a popular mini golf course and Key Club volunteers offer cakewalks, face painting and other crafts for kids to enjoy. As you can see, it is a Kodak moment at every turn!
